Doorbell Manufacturer Announces $1 Million Reward for Evidence of Aliens

In a novel approach to explore potential extraterrestrial occurrences nearby, Ring has unveiled its ‘Million Dollar Search for Extraterrestrial’ initiative this week, promising a staggering reward of $1 million.

The company calls upon its users to capture “unaltered scientific evidence of a real extraterrestrial lifeform” using their Ring devices.

The company said in a press release, “Sensors have been picking up signs of unidentified life forms in the Neighborhood Nebula, and we want you to investigate.”

Encouraging imaginative participation, Ring also commented, “Whether it’s a video of an Extraterrestrial walking (or flying?) up your driveway and asking for directions or an unidentifiable lifeform exhibiting unusual and extraordinary behaviour in your backyard-submit your best footage!”

The contest, accepting submissions until November 3, involves a review process by experts in meteorology and astrobiology to confirm the validity of the presented evidence.

The fortunate winner will secure a $1 million reward, which will be distributed in $50,000 annual installments over a span of twenty years. But that’s not where the offerings end – Ring is also extending a $500 Amazon gift card for the most inventively fabricated extraterrestrial footage.

The company explained, “Alien costumes and accessories, homemade spacecraft, and Extraterrestrial-inspired communication with your Ring device are highly encouraged.”

Entrants will be assessed on creativity, humor, and audience engagement with their home-crafted extraterrestrial submissions.

It’s crucial to note that participation in the competition is exclusive to US residents above 18 years of age, who are also Ring Camera owners.
